Jamie Mittleman, Founder/Instructor

Jamie is a life-long artist and educator. She studied theater at Binghamton University and later continued her studies at the William Esper Studio in NYC. While studying theater, she also found her deep love of a cappella and continues to sing in Cadence, an NYC-based a cappella group. Jamie is currently working on a web-series which she can’t wait to reveal soon! She has spent many years directing middle school and high school productions, and runs the Ramah Performs program at Camp Ramah in Nyack. Jamie is passionate about sharing her love of the arts with young artists.

Andrew Mittleman, Co-Founder/Instructor

Andrew is a seasoned video production professional and educator. He is a graduate of the American Film Institute and has written and edited TV and web content for companies like Universal Pictures, MTV2, T-Mobile, and more. Andrew was recently awarded first place in the Sundance Collab Alternate ending screenplay competition.

Caitlynn Barrett, Instructor

Caitlynn Barrett is a NYC based set designer and artist. She has designed with New Light Theatre Company at Theatre Row, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Cortland Repertory Theatre, The Metropolitan Playhouse, among others. Prior to COVID-19, she was working as the Film Unit Set Coordinator for Saturday Night Live and as the Scenic Charge Artist of the Atlantic Theatre Company. Nathaniel Ribner, Instructor

A lifelong fan of the creative arts, Nathaniel Ribner intends on keeping music a huge part of his life. After a decade plus at the piano and theory workbook, Nathaniel pivoted to singing and directing in his teens. He has since risen up the ranks in choirs and A Cappella groups of all shapes and sizes, most notably learning under the direction of Daniel Henkin (Tizmoret), Matthew Lazar (Zamir Noded), and Mike Boxer (Six13). He has been fortunate to perform at events and services around the globe (meeting a couple of US presidents along the way). In addition to singing professionally and being a featured judge for many A Cappella competitions, Nathaniel loves working with teenagers and teaching them how to be leaders in their own musical communities.

Arielle Beth Klein, Instructor

Arielle Beth Klein is an NYC-based storyteller. As an actor, she's performed off-broadway and regionally including New Yiddish Rep's Drama-Desk-nominated production of Death of a Salesman in Yiddish. As a writer, she's been developing her solo show My Shiksa Boyfriend for two years since taking a workshop with Seth Barrish (Mike Birbigilia's The New One). Jen Kostman

Jen is a preschool teacher by day and a professional picture book author-illustrator by night. She earned her BFA in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts, NYC in 2015. Throughout the years, Jen has worked closely with children of all ages in creative settings both in person and virtually. She's currently working on her biggest picture book project yet; her debut to-be-published book as both author and illustrator. Jen loves sharing her passion, skills and knowledge of storytelling and drawing with young creatives.

Alayna Klein, Instructor

Alayna Klein is a NYC based set designer/fine artist. Select design credits include: Fully Committed (6th Street Playhouse), Driving Miss Daisy (Jean’s Playhouse), Spit (Virtual Theatre Collaboration) and Leaving Eden (New York Musical Festival 2019, winning outstanding overall design). She received a B.A in Theatre Arts, as well as a B.A in Fine Arts from The State University of New Paltz. Prior to Covid-19, Alayna was a studio assistant for David Korins, where she was able to work on a variety of projects including Broadway productions of Beetlejuice and Mrs. Doubtfire. Kira M. Britt, Instructor

Born and living as a Swiss Army Artist. Native New Yorker Kira has dived into many paths of art. She started her education as an Illustrator. Working with the Joan Mitchell Foundation she had the opportunity to show her work at the Cue Art Gallery in Manhattan. While learning to become an illustrator, she studied at The Downtown Community Television Center where she created Evolution, a film that became the Crossroads 15th Annual Best Youth Film and won Flathead Lake International Cinema Festival for Best Picture. Kira then furthered her education in Theatre Tech and Design. Prior to Covid-19, she worked for off-Broadway theatre Playwrights Horizons as their resident scenic charge. Glenn Girón, Instructor

Glenn is an NYC-based director/choreographer hailing from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Assistant directing credits include: A Walk in the Woods & Awake (The Barrow Group), Ragtime (2nd Nat'l Tour), Spamalot (Surflight Theater). Glenn's directed shows at Hudson Guild Theater, People's Improv Theater and consistently works with TheaterWorks USA as a choreographer/director. He worked on Signature Theater's Sound Bites 4.0 Festival as the associate choreographer. Select dance training: Lines Ballet, Boston Conservatory, and American Dance Machine. Glenn also trained with director Seth Barrish (The New One on Broadway) at The Barrow Group and with the SDCF Observership ('18-'19). Ariana Andretta, Instructor

A native New Yorker, Ariana grew up surrounded by movement. She is a versatile dancer and has been trained in a variety of styles. She currently enjoys creating narratives as a choreographer & teacher in addition to her work as a performing artist. Ariana graduated summa cum laude from SUNY New Paltz with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Some of her performance credits include: Mary Poppins (Potsdam Music Theatre); swinging for Billy Griffin's "History Repeating" (Steps Studio Theater); World Pride 2019 with KIND Snacks; and Jena VanElslander’s TSQ Project with Be An Arts Hero. Babette Davis, Instructor

Babette Davis is an NYC based music teacher/ music therapist. She received a BFA in voice performance from Tulane University, and a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Southern Methodist University. She has been involved in preschool music education in her native state of Texas, New Jersey, and New York for several decades. She also enjoys being in regional and community theater productions, as well as singing in several choirs in the New York area. She was featured as a black dot in the remake of “The Stepford Wives,” and has been in several Honda commercials!

Nicholas Kaminski, Instructor

Nicholas is an actor, musician and composer originally from New Jersey. Favorite credits include: Cabaret (Assistant Music Director/Accordion, National Tour), Bright Star (Music Director/”Dr. Nordquist”, Surflight Theatre), Souvenir (“Cosme McMoon”, Morris Museum), and Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings (“Ensemble”, Carnegie Hall). Nicholas assisted composer/orchestrator Ned Ginsburg (Kiss Me Kate) on the world premiere of Ginsburg’s musical, Boynton Beach Club, starring Andrea McArdle (Annie). Nicholas’ original musical, Starborn: A Disco Odyssey, premiered at 54 Below in March 2020, starring Brandi Chavonne Massey (Wicked) and Richard Todd Adams (Cats). Nicholas is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and holds his BA in Music from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
